Modern Foreign Languages

Modern Foreign Language learning is taught throughout Key Stage 2 in line with the National Curriculum objectives. Children begin to learn the basic elements of a Modern Foreign Language in a fun and practical way, using games, songs and interactive whiteboard resources.

Throughout the school we gradually build children’s confidence and vocabulary to use the language in a range of practical contexts. Children benefit from being taught by specialist teachers and lessons are very active with great emphasis upon speaking and listening.
