Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium Funding – Are You Eligible?
If your child qualifies for free school meals (FSM), our school receives additional funding to support their learning. Even if your child prefers packed lunches, informing us of their eligibility ensures we can access this vital support. This is especially important for children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2, who automatically receive free school meals; confirming eligibility allows us to secure additional funding that benefits various aspects of their education.
Eligibility Criteria
Your child may be eligible for free school meals and the associated Pupil Premium if you receive any of the following benefits:
- Universal Credit (with an annual net earned income no more than £7,400)
- Income Support
- Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- Guarantee element of Pension Credit
- Child Tax Credit (provided you're not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income no more than £16,190)
- Working Tax Credit run-on (paid for four weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)
